Integrated Emergency Cholera Response Project

The integrated emergency cholera response initiative has been the IYCY's most intensive and recognisable implementation to date. Following Sustainable Development Goals 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and 6 (Clean water and Sanitation), the council stepped in and took the lead in exploring and implementing solutions to the terrible situation that has persisted in many areas of the Taiz and Sana'a governorates owing to water and sanitation issues. Possible dangers have been thoroughly examined, and appropriate measures are being implemented to reduce the likelihood of cholera outbreaks. Rapid actions are being launched to offer the people with access to clean water while also facilitating good hygiene, sanitation, and greater health protection in every manner feasible.
