Improving Midwifery Competencies and Skills

Pertaining Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality education) and 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), UNDP implemented a single workshop and training in Jabal Habashy with the purpose of increasing midwifery skills and capabilities to levels that need saving lives, particularly in high-risk scenarios. Clinics and birth centres' facilities and infrastructure were renovated and critical supplies were given so that they could operate without interruption. A range of goods and instruments were also distributed to a number of health care facilities.
