Discussion on Cyber Security

In accordance with the Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships), the IYC Mauritius Chapter met with the AFRINIC – 30 in June 2019 to discuss the enforcement of the African Union Convention on Cybersecurity and Personal Data Protection. The objectives of the meeting were to establish legal frameworks for e-transactions, protection of data, and punishment for violations.
