Our Executive Director visited the British High Commission Colombo on Wednesday, afternoon to express heartfelt condolences following the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II on behalf of the International Youth Council. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this difficult time.
Mr. Sadham D. Zarjahan signed a condolence book and shared H. E. Sarah Hulton OBE, British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, his memories with the Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II during his work at the Commonwealth Youth Council.
All Staff and members of the International Youth Council will observe the silence to "mourn and reflect on the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II," at 20:00 BST on Sunday 18 September 2022 by joining the UK’s national silence.
